In their words

Overview

Repair Lift was doing seven figures when we showed up, but every system was held together by the founder’s personal attention. We rebuilt the operating system so the business could run, scale, and even pivot industries without breaking.

The situation

A marketing agency operating in the consumer electronics repair vertical, already past seven figures in revenue, but running on the founder’s bandwidth. The infrastructure that existed wasn’t solid enough to absorb disruption, and there was no operational structure to support the next stage of growth. Decisions were reactive. Fires were constant.

What we built

End-to-end audit and infrastructure rebuild

We started by getting to know the business — auditing every process, surfacing the waste and friction, and streamlining operations before rebuilding the system around them. We rebuilt the operational backbone so the team could plan growth proactively, absorb change without retraining everyone, and bend without breaking. The rebuild came with dashboards and data visualization, so the team could see what was working in real time and prove it.

Evan was the other adult at the table, helping me make decisions, helping us avoid potholes when we were rolling out infrastructure or whatever else.

Client success operations and team enablement

Trained the client success team from the ground up — both on the discipline itself and on how to leverage the new systems we’d built. Reduced churn meaningfully and shifted the culture toward transparency and value-first relationships with customers. One of the most impactful changes of the entire engagement.

Strategic counsel

Two-plus years as the other adult at the table. Helped the founder see around corners on infrastructure, hiring, and rollout decisions — surfacing what was about to go wrong before it became expensive.

Evan has a rare ability to see around corners. Without him, we would have started building things that later would have been broken. He’d point it out during the scope process so we had good solutions built the first time.

Outcome

  • Operational KPI cadence solid enough that the founder could step back from day-to-day client work.
  • Client success operations reduced churn and shifted team culture toward transparency and customer value.
  • The business pivoted from consumer electronics repair into the diesel repair vertical with minimal internal friction — proof that the operating system we built could survive a complete strategy shift.
  • We made a decision a year and a half ago to switch industries. It was a testament to the back end that Evan built for us that we could switch from one industry to the other with very minimal friction. Basically nothing changed except the strategy.

  • The engagement closed amicably. We’re still working together and starting in on new ventures.
